Download All Files

Download All Files From a Website

Get every file on the page you're viewing in one click — then, if you need more, scan the pages it links to on the same site and download everything in one batch.

Current page: free up to 50 files per batch · Linked pages: Pro $9 one-time

Files from a whole section of a site, in one list

Sometimes the files you want aren't on one page. A document library spreads them across categories; a course site puts each week on its own page; a project archive has a page per release. Bulk File Downloader can scan the page you're on and the pages it links to, then show every file it found in one list.

Crawling is kept deliberately polite and predictable: it stays on the same website, goes at most two links deep, visits up to 100 pages, pauses between requests, and respects the site's robots.txt. It never follows links that look like actions — log out, delete, add to cart — so scanning can't change anything on your account.

Scanning and downloading the current page is free, up to 50 files per batch. Scanning linked pages is part of Pro ($9, one-time).

Built to be fast and polite

Current Page: Free

Every file linked or embedded on the page — documents, images, archives, audio, video — in one checklist.

Linked Pages: Pro

Follow links one or two levels deep on the same site, optionally staying inside the current section.

Safe by Default

Same site only, a page cap, a delay between requests, robots.txt rules, and no action-style links. Your session is never used to change anything.

One Combined List

Files from every page are merged and de-duplicated. Filter by type, extension, or size, then pick what to download.

Keep Working While It Runs

Close the popup and come back — progress and results are kept for that tab.

Private

Pages are fetched by your browser, with your session, and nothing is sent to us. No cloud crawler, no upload.

How to download all files from a website

1

Install and open the site

Go to the page that links to the files you want — a library index, a course home page, a downloads section.

2

Click the extension

You immediately see every file on the current page. For many sites that's already everything.

3

Choose "Also scan linked pages"

Pick depth 1 (pages linked from here) or 2 (and the pages those link to), and how many pages at most. Keep "Stay in this section" on to avoid wandering off.

4

Filter and download

Narrow the combined list by type or extension, select what you want, and download as separate files or one ZIP.

Good fits for scanning linked pages

  • Document libraries: Collect every PDF across the category pages of a policy or standards library.
  • Course sites: Grab the slides and readings from every week's page at once.
  • Open data portals: Gather the files attached to each dataset page in a collection.
  • Project archives: Download every release file linked from a project's version pages.
  • Media kits: Save all logos and press images spread across a brand's press pages.
  • Your own sites: Back up the files you've published before a migration.

Downloading from a whole site, answered

Can I download all files from a website?

From the current page, yes — free, up to 50 files per batch. With Pro, the extension also scans the pages the current page links to (same site, up to two levels deep and 100 pages) and lists every file it finds. It isn't a whole-site mirroring tool like wget or HTTrack; it's built for collecting the files from a section of a site quickly.

Will crawling get me blocked or do anything to my account?

It's designed not to. It requests one page at a time with a pause between each, respects robots.txt, stays on the same site, and skips links that look like actions (logout, delete, cart, edit). Still, use it on sites you're allowed to access, and keep page counts reasonable.

Does it work on sites that need a login?

Yes. Pages are fetched by your browser with your existing session, so it sees what you see.

Can it find files loaded by JavaScript?

On the current page, yes — it scans the live page, including lazy-loaded images and content added after load (scroll down, then rescan). On linked pages it reads the HTML the server sends, so files that only appear after scripts run on those pages may be missed.

Is there a free version?

Yes. The free version scans the current page and downloads up to 50 files per batch, with no time limit. Scanning linked pages, URL lists, ZIP, and unlimited batches are in Pro.

Does it download videos from YouTube, Instagram, or other platforms?

No. It downloads files with a direct link. It doesn't download streams or content from video and social platforms.

Collect Every File in Minutes

Install free for single pages (50 files per batch), and upgrade once when you need linked pages, URL lists, and unlimited batches.
