The free version downloads everything on the current page. Pro can also scan the pages it links to on the same site (up to two levels deep, respecting robots.txt) and combine the results.
It works on most sites, including ones you're logged in to — downloads use your normal browser session. Chrome doesn't allow extensions on its own pages or the Chrome Web Store, and it can't get past logins or paywalls you don't have access to.
No. It downloads files that have a direct link — documents, images, archives, audio and video files. It doesn't download streams from YouTube or other platforms.
